Keely Self is the administrative assistant in the John V. Roach Honors College and
one of the newest members on the Honors team. You can find her at the front desk of
the Honors suite in Sadler. Keely will help you find your advisor, answer your questions
and assist at Honors events.
What’s your background, and what brought you to TCU?
I have lived in and around Fort Worth my whole life, so I have always been aware of TCU and its reputation. I started working here in 2017, and I’ve been here ever since!
Why the Honors College at TCU?
My first position at TCU was in the Honors College, and the incredible Honors students and staff were hard to forget. I was glad to have the opportunity to rejoin the Honors team.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to students?
Have fun (but not at the expense of your coursework, naturally). These four years go by so quickly. Try your hardest to enjoy every day and prioritize building relationships that will last beyond graduation.
Share a fun fact about yourself that others might not know.
I make amazing homemade cinnamon rolls.
