Transfer students who currently have or will have completed a minimum of 12 graded hours at TCU and earned a TCU cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the end of the semester are eligible to apply for admission to the Honors College. Applicants need to have a minimum of two or more semesters remaining before graduation after being admitted to the Honors College.
Beginning Friday, February 4, 2022, students will have access to the application link on the Honors website, which consists of two essay questions. The application will close on Friday, March 4, 2022. No late applications will be accepted for any reason.
Students interested in joining the Honors College are welcome to attend one of the optional Honors Interest Sessions held in February and March. During these sessions, students will learn about the expectations and curriculum of the Honors College. This information will help students think about how Honors might fit into their degree plan. If accepted to the Honors College, students will be required to enroll in an Honors course for the fall 2022 term. Please see the complete timeline below.
