Each Honors Laureate chose a faculty or staff mentor to hood them. The mentors wrote memorable sentiments about each student. They were read as the Laureates walked across the stage to sign the Honors Roll of Graduates, which has been signed by graduating Honors Laureate dating back to 2010. By signing the Great Book, students committed themselves to lifelong learning.
