John V. Roach Honors College Board of Visitors Founders Award
Nominations are now closed for the 2016 John V. Roach Honors College Board of Visitors Founders Award.
The annual Founders Award recognizes an individual whose achievements both inspire us – and thus challenge us – to make a positive difference in our world and who exemplifies:
· the core principles of the Honors College,
· engagement with education, lifelong learning, ethical leadership, and responsible citizenship, and
· a continuing connection with and commitment to the Honors College and TCU.
Among the foundational principles of the Honors College, as well as of the former Honors Program, is the belief that critical thinking and creative inquiry, understanding and tolerance across world cultures, and involvement with community and society are all crucial factors that lead to resourceful, vital lives and to leadership in a global society.
The Award Committee will seek to identify the nominated individual who best meets the award criteria and the Committee asks that you consider the criteria summarized above as you complete this Nomination Form.
A nominee may be, but is not required to be, a graduate of TCU or the Honors College (or the former Honors Program). A nominee should be an individual living at the time of nomination.
